Round Top Sireh Dara.
Sireh Dara or Sireh Junjung is a 'must have 'for every Malay Wedding. Its a tradition that is still kept till today. Tradition has it that the Sireh Dara is supposed to symbolize 'marriage life between husband and wife'. Sireh Dara is actually Sireh (which is Betel Leaf) decorated with flowers.
Apperantly, the Betel leaf is supposed to taste sour and a little salty when chewed with the betel nuts and flowers are of course, sweet and beautiful thus, the combo represents marriage life. Mostly sweet and beautiful, yet there will be painful moments sometimes.....
